Explore Park: A step back in time at Milepost 115 of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the valley's 1,300-acre, history-themed reserve re-creates the days when American frontier life ended in the Blue Ridge Mountains. On site: an authentic pioneer village with farmhouse, barns, schoolhouse and costumed townspeople, as well as a Native American guide to the customs and habits of tribesmen of that era.
