Perfect Spot for Your Child
Finding dependable child
care is perhaps the most important issue faced by parents,
and the Roanoke Valley makes the task a lot simpler by
providing a variety of choices, from church-affiliated
nurseries to preschools and learning centers.
Special summer programs
are offered at many of the Valley's child care centers and
the YMCA. Sports camps offer roller skating, bowling, arts
and crafts, movies, ballet, games, indoor and outdoor
sports and swimming lessons.
For mothers who need a
little personal time, many of the area's child care
centers have Mother's Day Out programs, in which mothers
can take time between morning and early-afternoon for
themselves.
